About Ceramic Coating

The plasma frame will be ceramic-coated simultaneously with the nose bridge tuning. For 1st Generation frames, the original paint will be completely removed and recoated to match the original bone plasma finish.

What is CERAKOTE?

Cerakote™ is a ceramic-based coating that boasts remarkable hardness while maintaining a flexible film. It offers a wide range of performance benefits including wear resistance, impact resistance, salt resistance, corrosion resistance, heat resistance, solvent resistance, chemical resistance, and weather resistance. Additionally, it provides heat dissipation, insulation, and lubrication properties. It is used by the U.S. military as a specified coating for various firearms and other applications.

With prolonged use, frames may accumulate stains and dirt on the surface. By applying this ceramic coating, the frames can be restored to nearly new condition.

The finish will resemble that of the first-generation Bone Plasma, including similar color tones and a slightly textured surface feel.

• The serial number will not remain after the service.

The turnaround time for the work is approximately 1 month from the date we receive the frames. Please note that the delivery time may vary slightly depending on the workload. Your understanding is greatly appreciated.

Please note that this service aims to revive older Plasma frames to a like-new condition. It does not involve changing Carbon or X-METAL frames into Plasma frames.

Nose Bridge Tune-Up

We will replace the temple washers, nose bridge flex couplers, and nose bridge pins with new parts (the prices for these parts are included in the service fee).

After completing this service, your frame will function like new. We will resolve any looseness in the nose bridge and arm parts.

Please place your order as you would a normal order, adding this service to your shopping cart.

If you purchased lenses, rubber parts, or any other components at the same time, please indicate in the remarks section whether you would like us to attach them.

We will change these parts at no additional cost! (There will be no extra attachment fee.)

After You Place Your Order

Once you have placed your order, please send your frame to us. The shipping address is provided below.

Please declare the value of your package lower and describe it as "Used Sunglasses for Repair" on the shipping label to avoid import taxes.

We ask for your cooperation on this point, as declaring your frame incorrectly as merchandise on the shipping label may incur high import taxes for receiving your frame.

Please pay the shipping fee when you send your frame to us. Also, if you send the product and it does not reach us, we are not responsible for it, so please use a shipping method with a tracking number.

We will complete this service approximately 1 month from the date we receive the frames. Once finished, we will send your frame back via EMS and provide you with a tracking number.

Additional Information

When sending your frame to us, there’s no need to remove any parts; we will handle the removal and replacement ourselves. If you purchase other parts along with your order, we will combine them and ship them back together with the tune-up services.

Please note that we are closed on Saturdays and Sundays. The estimated time to complete this service does not include our holidays.
