Because it does not require any special skill.
Linegear's rubber parts are made of silicone rubber.
According to the feature of the material, it has durability to keep their function for a long time, and also has function of heat-resistant and cold resistant.
There is no need to worry about the bad influence of silicone rubber to the human body because it is a pharmaceutical grade.
When a sharp crack is formed on the rubber, it may be torn apart easily, so please pay attention when you install the rubbers to your frame.
Please attach the rubbers carefully, they may expand when they are applied with a high stress.
Please avoid repeated attaching which could cause weakening of the clamping force of the rubber.
You need a T6 screw driver when you change the gasket.
Ear sock
The ear socks are made to fit the frame tightly, so some users may find it difficult to install them to the stems.
We'd recommend to dip the ear socks in a hot water to make the material soften, then with a towel, help with your finger to install the ear socks to the stems by pushing and twisting.

Gasket
The gasket works as a cushion between the lens and frame.
You need T6 screw driver to replace the gasket from the frame.
Note!!!
If you screw your lenses too strong, the lenses are easy to get a distortion due to the stress by screws.
This can lead to an uncomfortable and dizzy feeling when using the X-Metal. To have a comfortable experience, please use a rubber gasket at the orbital.
Be cautious about the stress on the lenses from a strong screw pressure.
