What is Oakley X-Metal?
Oakley X-Metal is a special metal alloy frame sunglasses which is created by Oakley since 1997. The series have many different models which listed below. Each model also has a different color finish such as: X-Metal, Plasma, Polished and Carbon. Every parts of the same model can be used interchangeably.

Unfortunately, since 2012 Oakley stopped production of the X-Metal series, so most frames on the market are second hands.

X-SQUARED was released in 2009 after Oakley was taken over by Luxottica. It has a different nosebridge without the nosebridge pin while using a nose screw. Therefore it is very easy to tune up. Those described above are the major color of X-METAL. There are also rare color such as TiO2、Copper、Polished Carbon, early plasma and prototypes which might not included here.
